The Psychology Behind Irrational Selections is the title of a TED-Ed lesson that I wanted to rewatch this morning. The lesson focuses on the function of heuristics in our choice making processes. After all, to grasp the function of heuristics in making choices college students first want to grasp heuristics. The lesson does job of defining heuristics for college students. Purposes for Training
A potential extension for this lesson is to have college students take into consideration and discover examples of how heuristics can affect the statements folks make in political discussions.
